I am not sure if we perceive things by the(thinking)mind.
maybe we have channels to perceive (the senses - how about plain intuition and emotions?)and the mind just adds thought to it.
that explains the distortion between what is and how we explain what is (to us).
in other words sometimes we explain it right and sometimes we completely mishit the ball - suppositions.
