Right, you're trade amounts are low enough that it isn't a huge expense, but if you were trading $2000 instead of $200 your commission would be $17 and if you were trading $5000 instead of $500 your cost would be $32.

Scottrade gets super expensive for penny stocks if you are making anything more than very small trades.
