good article. although not directly tied to VRNG, it almost justifies their action against GOOG. The judge's description does not fit what VRNG is doing in this case, as he defines a patent troll as a company that uses patents strictly in a blackmail sense "discovery will cost you 2-3 million, let's settle for far below that and avoid any of these issues".

In VRNG's case, they've proven they're willing to take their case as far as it needs to go (and win). Although an NPE, not a troll in the good judges article (and not intrinsically bad either).
