How were these earnings that much better than November's ? Let's see what happens when there are derivative gains and 5 billion of loss reserve reversals. Add putback litigation and tax loss valuation reversals too that.
Although we need to remember that you have to think the net investment idea is valid to care at all what earnings are. IF you don't think it's valid than even a trillion profit a quarter has no meaning. It just goes to repay the taxpayers perpetual claim.
