NEWBURY PARK, Calif., Nov 16, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Electronic Sensor Technology (OTCBB: ESNR) a leading provider of innovative Homeland Security solutions, announced today that it has received an order from a major manufacturer of plastic corks for the wine industry. The zNose(R) is an electronic sensor device that can capture and analyze nearly any odor, fragrance or chemical vapor within ten seconds. The company's name is being withheld due to competitive reasons.

"This order demonstrates the versatility of the zNose(R)," said Matthew S. Collier, President and CEO of Electronic Sensor Technology, Inc. "Just days after being selected by Northrop Grumman, a leading defense contractor, for a high-profile Navy project, a leader in the food industry has selected us for quality control. The wide array of applications that the device can be used for in a broad number of markets is a result of its unique ability to detect a wide range of airborne vapors and pathogens, which is why it is used by so many leading companies in the wine industry."
