DELAY IN PUBLICATION OF INTERIM RESULTS FOR THE SIX
MONTHS ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2012
Reference is made to the announcements of Chaoda Modern Agriculture (Holdings) Limited
(the “Company”, together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) respectively dated 30
September 2011, 29 February 2012, 28 September 2012 and 1 February 2013 in relation to,
among others, (i) the delay in publication of the audited annual results of the Group for the
financial year ended 30 June 2011; (ii) the delay in publication of the interim results of the
Group for the six months ended 31 December 2011; (iii) the delay in publication of the
audited annual results of the Group for the financial year ended 30 June 2012 (collectively
the “Outstanding Financial Results”); and (iv) the appointment of the Company’s new
auditors with effect from 1 February 2013.
Given that the appointment of Crowe Horwath (HK) CPA Limited as the Company’s new
auditors has only been recently made by the Company, there will be a delay in the publication
of the interim results of the Group for the six months ended 31 December 2012 and further
delay in the publication of the Outstanding Financial Results together with the despatch of the
requisite reports (collectively the “Financial Results and Reports”) as required under Rules
13.46, 13.48 and 13.49 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock
Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. -2-
The board of directors of the Company will continue to take every step possible to expedite
the publication of the Financial Results and Reports. Further announcement(s) will be made
by the Company to inform its shareholders on the expected date of the release of the Financial
Results and Reports as and when appropriate.
