Let me give you a single example: solar cells, which involve a technology by no means as complex as robotics. The first solar cells were produced in the 50's, then after a slow start in the late 50's, the (practically) unlimitted amount of money pumpped into photovoltaics R&D due to the space power (almoust exclusively provided by the space solar cells). Despite their space success, it was only in the late 70's that funding started to become available for the terrestrial solar cell applications. It took thereafter some 25 years until the mass comerciallization of solar cell/pannels started in 2000/2001. The makers of today's (mostly automatic) turn-kee solar cell/solar pannel factories were only possible after good software was started to be developed)toward the end of 90's.

GOSY has the huge advantage of mastering good software products just at the beginning of any commerciallization effort by the hardware robotic companies.
