If the stock is $10.00 or $.10 is has no baring on the buyout price. The stock will be over or under valued. Or, at market value. If the patent is worth $100MM then that's the conversive price value per share. If it is worth $50MM then that is the buyout price.

You see it all the time when corps are bought out, it is the value of patents, products, inventory etc that dictates buyout price then reflected in stock price, not visa versa.
