Chart analysis is so you can get an idea of where the pps is heading. Obviously it does not take in to account breaking new, but without chart analysis all you have is gut feeling. I do believe, somewhat, in going with your gut however, chart analysis is very helpfull. I know it's not always predictable as wee have all seen but with it and other dd you have a better then 50/50 chance at predicting where the pps is heading. And better than 50/50 is profitable and isn't that what we all want?
If you don't like what Reasonable and others are posting in regards to chart analysis then don't read them or don't base your entry and exit points on them. You should always do your own dd and not make trades based on what others are saying on message boards.
