if we have the order number as of Jan 1st...ie # of orders for the year so far...does anybody have this info?

The order # I saw at 12:30am eastern time, Jan 1st (half hour into the new year on east coast, but still December on west coast) was 100357.

So, we're at almost 30,000 in order numbers (and probably over 25,000 completed orders) 8 weeks into the quarter, with 5 weeks to go.

On pace for about 50,000 in order numbers for Q1, which would exactly double Q4, which itself doubled Q3.

Of course, next quarter should see a seasonal slowdown, so don't expect this revenue growth to continue. Revenue growth will likely pause for the summer, then resume in the fall.
