I can almost see why people average down.. I think it is stupid, but I kind of get it now. If I could get some penny shares, instead of having three cents in each share I'd have 1.5 cents in each one

But

I still think that if I buy more shares- it's a new trade. So, I think averaging down doesn't make sense when you really think about it.
