Ack, sorry. It is 'apt-get update' to update the repository information. Sorry about that. The partition isn't mounted. Decide where you want it mounted, default is /mnt/hdax where x is the partition number. But you can mount it anywhere you wish. You can mount from the command line or edit /etc/fstab and it will automatically mount at boot time. To mount it somewhere else, just mkdir a direcctory where you want it and 'mount /dev/hdax /mountpoint' where mountpoint is the path name to where you want it mounted.
