AMD-Rigueur - From thestreet.com

Cramer, a self-described "Intel (INTC:Nasdaq - commentary - research - Cramer's Take)-a-holic," is switching loyalties to (gasp!) Advanced Micro Devices (AMD:NYSE - commentary - research - Cramer's Take).

"It's not always 'buy Intel,'" said Cramer. "It's not 'Intel will be best of breed forever no matter what.' Sometimes you gotta sell -- maybe just schnitzel -- a little Intel even if you're addicted to it."

Cramer said the "unthinkable" has happened and that AMD has been outperforming Intel and will continue to outperform Intel. The reason, said Cramer, is AMD's management. "AMD's management is wiping the floor with Intel."

AMD, along with Google (GOOG:Nasdaq - commentary - research - Cramer's Take), News Corp (NWS:NYSE - commentary - research - Cramer's Take) and Red Hat (RHAT:Nasdaq - commentary - research - Cramer's Take), will develop a $100 laptop computer, said Cramer.

"This story is a virtual who's who of tech companies. But, Intel isn't in it. AMD is."

A generation of kids will grow up using AMD's chips, said Cramer, and the slogan, "'Intel Inside' will mean nothing to them."

Meanwhile, Intel has been struggling to bring its new chips to market, said Cramer, and in October, AMD sold more chips to the PC market than did Intel, he said. AMD is "winning the game."

Cramer said AMD will host an analyst day Tuesday, which he believes will be a "big trading catalyst for the stock." Be in AMD ahead of the meeting, said Cramer.

"AMD has finally beaten Intel. You need to own it."
