Near the end of the Gold Rush finale on Friday night, The Discovery Channel had a 30 second or so promo that revealed the "secret location" where Todd Hoffman and crew had been filming the last month. JJ was in the promo which confirmed what many MDMN shareholders already knew/suspected - that Discovery Channel was filming on Medinah's 20% owned Jota property with the Hoffman's and JJ for an offshoot program of the Gold Rush series.

There are no episodes yet as they only finished filming last week. What is a bit confusing, to me anyway, is that the company reported on Friday that the show will be airing in March. However, Discovery has also said that the Hoffman crew will be part of an off-season 6-episode series called "Gold Rush - The Off Season" where they will be prospecting in 3 different countries.

So currently it is unclear where, when and for how long the last month of filming on the Jota property will be presented by The Discovery Channel.
