You should be getting paid to wash blankets and should have been told this a long time ago. Every week or so when I wash them, I then go into EAC and create meeting time for 30 minutes and put reason as washing blankets/drapes. Your DM temporary or permanent has to approve it. This is the result of the HUGE lawsuit brought against CPI several years ago in which they were making people work illegally off the clock. Anytime you do things such as wash drapes, spent time on a conference call on your day off, take flyers to day cares, come in to go to a store meeting, etc. make sure that you do this. This was a big deal a few years back! Please make sure you do this so you get paid. Sucks that once again lack of communication results in another associate not getting what they should. Good luck and if DM doesn't approve, QUESTION them! I find by simply asking why and reminding them of the lawsuit gets results. They will be sure to approve! good luck!
