Actually that is one of the techniques! Do some bear raids on PPHM and then some day later do a head fake!

You will get plenty of shares out of MORE then just the weak hands because many regular traders and investors may see the pattern and do an early sell in order to buy back.

So that would be a very good tactic to loosen up shares and get sellers.

So you remark actually points to the psychology behind bear raids in a further more sophisticated use.

That is 'the head fake' may be next. So make sure you have your STOPS right, and if you use trailing stops, remember why the pps never goes up in a straight line!

NOTE: To your previous post! The circuit breaker doesn't kick in based on type of trade (long sell or short). Just on price per time. So it would not matter. You were probably thinking about the down tick rule. Anyways, it would be an expensive loss under the current circumstances.
