As of 2/21/13, Van Eck Global holds 13,121,093 shares of GBGLF in the GDX and holds 22,125,954 shares in the GDXJ. That means 389,700 shares were distributed to APs for sale and there are 35,247,047 shares remaining to be liquidated.

There is a uniformity to the way the number of shares drop in the respective funds. For each of the days I tracked, if you divide the number of shares distributed from GDX by the number of shares distributed from GDXJ, you get .593. So, they are dropping in tandem.
