I don't believe that they are paying for lawyers at present. Usually Lawyers take these high dollar cases on contingency. that is one reason that their lawyers are so well reviewed. you get the best when big bucks are on the line.
Another point altogether. -
I somewhat hope that they go to trial for the reason that they are asking for punitive damages as well and in the case of playboy they could be very significant!- IMO
