I agree with his conclusion: this paper suggests that the such corporations actually experience greater transparency as a result of multiple reporting regimes and requirements. One result of this greater transparency is that such corporations can find themselves more accountable and subject to greater and more consistent disclosure than otherwise. Greater transparency yields greater integrity, and, I conclude, greater integrity is a mark of good corporate citizenship.
My take: Multiple reporting regimes and requirements give the investor more information and that is what we need so we don't lose our investments in these companies by these companies lying or going dark.
