And, the Sequestration is not actually a reduction in spending, but rather more of a reduction in planned increases in spending. The President is, IMO, blowing this out of proportion to scare people and try to make Republicans in congress look bad, when it was The President who created the Sequestration and repeatedly has said he would fight any efforts to undo it.
