As far as I know... Macrovision's CDS300 installs drivers into PC's yet he makes no mention of their copy protection.
I suppose he will be attacking Microsoft or Apple next with their DRM strategies? Maybe he will call these DRM technologies spyware too. They install methods of tracking the music you download and enforce restrictions of what you do with the files. Can you uninstall windows DRM from your computer? Both methods require keys and these keys are specific to your computer some way or another when you purchase music tracks on-line.
