i've been involved with bidding contracts for industrial electrical industry for many years. started as an electrician and slowly worked up the ladder. it has always been that when we bid on a job it was never kept a secret from employees or any other contractor that would want to know if we had bid.I read the other day that it was against the law for them to say if they had bid wash. contract. it isn't. my point is they should let us know whether they have put in a bid or not. state of wash. doesn't have to tell who won contract till mar.5 but erbb could sure let the word out that they are trying.
