I am not so sure we see alot of selling without news. The stock has been stuck in a very narrow range and it usually takes some catalyst to move it either way. The volume spike the other day did not cause much change in the PPS. It looked like a 100,000 buy went through and it had a very temporary effect on the PPS. Once a stock gets stuck like VRNG it takes a lot to move it either way. The news expected will likely be positive based on all we know to date. My guess is we get a little preview before the news. It is interesting that sometimes you see a headfake to the downside just prior to news. Could be shorts bailing out, not sure why this anomaly occurs on occasions.
