If you are looking a level 2, (i use td ameritrade, and you can find it in the trade architech, for example), you can see what the bid is, (what people are trying to pay to get the stock) and the ask,(what people are trying to sell the stock for), a wall on the ask, would be a huge amount of shares at one price, on the ask, that would need to be bought up before the price can move up....to the next ask price. For example, 1.5 million shares at x price, could be a wall, or today for example, I wouldn't see a wall until there were maybe 12-15 million shares at the same price on the ask. Just because of the volume....I hope this helps....GLTA...GO MCET!!!
