GM Iron,

I found that I had the best luck with the 60 min chart in forex. When/if I would wait for the proper setup to enter, I did very well. The problem is, those setups don't come around all that often, I found it very difficult to wait for the next one. Then I would go forcing trades on the shorter time frames.

I think the reversal candlestick patterns are the most reliable patterns of all.
