We are in BioWatch Gen 3 Phase II

That Phase is in 2 stages

Stage one is the testing stage...that was completed last year. PSID CEO announced we were the only one who passed. Remember that PR?

We are in stage 2 now! That's the contract award to a single vendor for the deployment of the 2,500 units who Boeing will make.

Don't bother reading the FBO website. They have everything messed up. They are either playing politics or they are just stupid. They are NOT part of the process and what they say means nothing. Read the DHS website announcements.

It is a little confusing but...

"The procurement for BioWatch Gen-3 Phase II will occur in two stages, DHS said. The first stage involves performance testing of proposed biodetector systems and the second phase involves operational test and evaluation as well as production, deployment, sustainment and disposal. DHS plans to make multiple awards for the first stage but only one award for the second stage after a competitive down-selection.

DHS asked interested companies to submit questions on the draft RFP by Feb. 11"

We are in Phase 2 right now. There are 2 stages in Phase 2. The first stage of Phase 2 was the performance testing by multiple companies which turned out to be NOC and PSID. That's done. We know it's done because the testing was done last year by "multiple" companies. The second stage is awarding the contract and that will be awarded to only one vender. We're at that stage right now. Does that make sense?
