With current testing methods some pathogens are caught , but being a consumer is like playing food roulette, hoping you aren't the guy who discovers the next big food contamination by going to the hospital. Their is a lot of room for improvement and to be done with government cutbacks. Getting ahead of the game is what the food industry needs. They need a cost effective, user friendly method to comply and report to assure safe food production. The MIT 1000 has what it takes for the future of food safety, IMO
