Newbieee,

I've been concerned about tumor secreated exosomes, and the microRNA that they carry for months now. I'm not certain, but I suspect that the difference between Bavituximab being therapeutic in adenocarcinoma and not pancreatic cancer, is attributed to the difference in exosomes secreated between each malignancy.

The difference could be attributed to secreated microRNA and the distruction inflicted messenger proteins in pancreatic neoplasia. Maybe these secretions are not evident in adenocarcinoma (lung), or with less effect to Bavituximab's MOA?

There is a way to test this theory, and it's called "Immunohistochemistry", but what do I know? I'm just a shareholder...

All the best,
John
