Global Mobile Market Outlook: 2012–17

Ovum expects global mobile connections to reach 8.2 billion in 2017 and annual mobile service revenues to increase to $1.1trillion.

Continued growth in emerging markets, sustained strong performance of the US, and growing impact of mobile broadband will be the primary growth drivers.

Global mobile connections will increase from 6.6 billion in 2012 to 8.2 billion in 2017. This increase will be driven by growth in emerging markets.
