IF NOKIA WENT ANDROID....
They really would have flopped! Samsung would have chewed them up and spit them out.
But....... instead they went WINDOWS 8.
Here's a message for Nokia LONGS (Shorts, please click and read another post, this message isn't going to appeal to you)
Nokia stock has been holding steady around $4 with the introduction of the new Lumia and Asha lines of phones. They have ALREADY turned the corner. For the first time in SIX quarters, Nokia posted a profit at the end of 2012, but remember that this is ONLY THE BEGINNING since the introduction of the Windows 8 line-up.
Looking at this phone, just looking at it, it is a work of art. The Windows 8 phones are smart and exciting, especially to the younger crowd. Kids love it.
That should tell you something about the direction this company is moving ... remember the movie E.T.? After kids saw the colors of skittles flash on the screen, skittles sales SOARED BEYOND THE GALAXY.
This is what I see happening with Nokia Windows 8 phones. They're quality built and the C.E.O. Mr. Elop is quality driven.
For every person who is dogging this man (Mr. Elop) and spewing out all kinds of crude remarks about him, it only speaks of their own personal character. You know about the kid bully in grade school who picked on other people because of his own colossal insecurities. That's pretty much what's happening with those who are dogging this man (Mr. Elop). They are either furiously jealous or they are spewing out garbage to keep Nokia down, which will not happen.
Even if Nokia stock takes a dip, my advice is to go out and enjoy your day anyway. In about 3-5 years you'll be buying the golf course instead of paying a membership fee to play there!
