Ok so after examing further how MEDIAN can be a very misleading statistic. I had previously been interpreting this word as MEAN, my own ignorance; correct me if i am wrong for now serarating the two in my mind. Perhaps at the "upcoming 'scientific'(what colorful word choice, NOT) meeting" they will layout the data as promised.

imaginary data set: 4, 4, 4, 4, 5 , 12 ,15, 18, 20.
5 is the MEDIAN??? 9.4 is the MEAN?
correct me if i am wrong?

is the Cowen Medical Conference on March 4-6 a 'scientific' meeting?
