oug, no problem and I do understand the countrys reputation..... in all my years there I never saw the kid stuff and I was never looking for it... but the sex trade is alive and well there, in fact it is a major source of tourist dollars... also, a lot of the guys end up marrying the locals... not the Thai-Chinese, they are upper crust and tend to not mix with farangs... but the indiginous people, the Isaan people who are stuck in poverty and looked down on by the Thai-chinese... it is a very ugly situation.... they are considered lower class people and they do not get much opportunity... they are rice farmers, poor, living day to day..... they are the taxi drivers, the maids, the doormen......

And their families send their daughters to the city to prostitute themselves and the girls send the money back to their families... quite sad really........
