Please fill me in, I would hate to place judgement on misinformation. What i see is the LAPD brotherhood firing a man who tried to live up to the image of the ideal police officer. He fought legally and was shut up by the law. When the law can't provide justice, how can you say the law is right?
Any man knows, when you see your brother go down in a fight, you're instinct is to help your brother, whether he's right or wrong. Sometimes the feeling of belonging/brotherhood can make people do things they normally wouldn't do alone.
I read his memorandum, he doesn't sound like an irrational person at all. What puzzles me is, if nothing illegal happened to him, why was a seemingly intelligent and respectable man driven to this extreme? Please explain.
I don't support the murder or the use of violence, but at the same time, I can't think of a way to get a point across like he did. It's unfortunate he was turned into what he was, nobody hurt in this incident deserved it, it's very sad, same for all innocent people who die. I just want to know exactly why an ideal cop would turn, and what is going to be done to RESOLVE the issue. We have too many patches for problems in our society, all reaction.
