There's another "Peter the Roman" Cardinal around, but he is not mentioned as a contender at all:

You can bet the air will go wild if someone from Italy named Peter is chosen. AND, I would find that a bit more than a coincidence from Malachy's predictions, after having nailed the last one, and many of the others, eh?
Just read the list at the end, and see how closely his descriptions have something significant to do with most of the popes. I understand you can make almost anything "fit" a prediction, but read them closely, and I think you would agree that there seems to be more than just luck or pressed interpretation on most.
