Uploading Images To iHub

Before I tell how to use one of iHub’s greatest features for us users. I suggest you use another of their great and generous tools to create a "Folder" in which to store all of the Image Links (with dashes in the chart tag to keep the tags open). iHub will keep and store your images for you; you will have a "Gallery" to keep them in.

However, I find my "Image Folder (File)" in my "Mailbox" to be very useful in holding images that I do not use a lot and have discarded (Hidden) from my "Gallery." Don't Worry Though, you'll always have access to all of your images; you can search for them by clicking on the "View Your Hidden Pictures" link at the top left of the "Image Upload" page.

To Create A Folder:

Click On The "Mailbox" in the Top Toolbar, click on the fourth tab from the left named "Folders."

On that page under "Folder Management" you'll find a link that says "Make a New Folder."

Click on that and name it what ever you wish. Send yourself a Private Message (PM) with the chart or img code (with dashes).

Then when opening the "Private Message," any Private Message, you'll see a link at the top right that says "File." When clicking on this link your Folders will open up and you can “File” it into any folder that you have created from a list presented to you.

Uploading Images:

iHub has given us the free gift of storing images; however, it only allows gifs & jpeg images. If you have a png or other source of image, you'll want convert it to gif or jpeg first. I have created an instruction post for this.

Saving (Uploading) An Image:

If you have not already saved the image and you want to upload it to your PC, you can do so by placing your mouse over the image. Now right click your mouse button with your cursor over the image.

Select "Save Image As" from the menu that appears. You can rename the image if you wish, but make sure you remember where you saved it!

Uploading Images to iHub:

Go To "More Tools," Third from the right in the top Tool Bar.

Click on this and you'll get a drop down menu, the first selection is "My Image Gallery." Click on it. This page will open to the "Image Upload" page.

Click on the "Browse" button, select an image from whatever file on your PC you saved it in, then select "Open," at the bottom of the “My Pictures” box, then click on the "Upload" tab under the line of code.

When you go to post the image after uploading it, you can use the top line of code to the right of the image under "Embed" with the [-chart]....[/chart-] line of code. (without dashes). Just Cut & Paste this line of code.

Or you can copy the URL and place in between the [-img][/img-] (without dashes) tags in the "Image Tool" (button or tag), starting after the "http://"
