I don’t follow as closely as I used to so, I didn’t see the post you are referring to but, there was some confusion at the time. TA’s don’t freeze stocks, the DTC does.
I know you already know that, but there was some drama to be sorted out back then.
As part of the process the reconciliation of the SDVI share count on deposit at the DTC and the share count at the transfer agent had a discrepancy of 10,350,000 shares to many. 350,000 shares of that amount has been reconciled, but there was an additional 10,000,000 shares accidently issued by the transfer agent in 2008.
If the DTC flinched at a 10,000,000 share discrepancy, I imagine they would probably shit at a 300,000,000 share discrepancy.
