I guess it depends upon how high you see this stock growing that determines whether you try to get shares at the bid (lowest possible) or slap the ask (help advance). I tend to throw caution to the wind and slap the ask if the difference between the bid and ask prices translate to $20 difference in gain on $10,000 value. I know that's a stupid way to trade, but I don't consider myself a trader.
