The last two weeks, I've been looking more at large caps, and I'm wondering why the heck have I always paid attention to penny stocks! They respond more predictably, I like the fact that with large caps you limit your "market risk"! I need more of that in portfolio!
I'm coming up to my second full year of investing in Feb 2006 and I've always stayed clear of the more expensive stocks.
Netflix (NFLX) & also India Fund (IFN) are the ones that got me thinking more about large caps. NFLX caught my eye early May 05 due to the breakout and now look at it, trying hard to tear down $30. More then a 100% gain! Then I look at my portofolio and see no gains just losses in that time frame! Such is life! lol At least I'm still smiling! lol
I've decided to get my stockbroker license here in Canada, hopefully I won't have to use it, lol! Thanks for the outlet, don't know what I would do without it, I might be wandering the streets aimlessly! lol
