Why would Bordynuik have made these claims, if JBI was anything more than a slick share-selling operation? Just because JBI has spent money on processors, doesn't make it any more than that. A good scam needs lots of props, the applied for patent being just the latest "prop" in order to use the term "patent pending". Any marginal patent attorney can come up with a new twist on something in order to claim a patent. Thus far (and between JBI's first claim of having applied for a patent, only to admit in a later SEC filing that they had not sought any patent protection) JBI/Bordynuik hasn't come up with any novel invention.

It's a bit like claiming you have the world's largest engineering database, and then having to claim that you have a large one instead. At what point do shareholders realize they're being sold a story, and that the story-teller needs to keep changing the story to keep people interested, before the final curtain?
