If there are lots of folks trying to sell their shares on the greys we will see a drop in price....but on the greys there has to be a match for every share sold...MM's can't short to make a market, it has to be a match. If there is an MM that is short they are gonna have to find sellers and if no one sells low they will have to buy high...at least that's my understanding.
