No, I admitted no such thing. I asked for your source that Verizon was spending "billions" on fiber build-out. The last I heard was they were spending about 800 million this year.
The DSL trade publications are largely silent on the real-world capabilities of VDSL2. These are very new products that have not been independently tested. There are a few industry pundits who are skeptical, but many of those same pundits were also skeptical about several other generations of DSL and were later proven to be wrong about their skepticism.
You are an intelligent person and should be able to see that the VDSL2 claims appear to be bogus...
LOL. I see you did not even bother to refute my assertion that you are just another company shill being directed to spread the company FUD. It is astounding that you make these completely absurd statements about VDLS2 claims being "bogus" yet you continue to defend this little podunk company, that has never produced a single product. The same company that has, on two separate occasions utilizing what they claim are two completely unrelated technologies, claimed to have the best and fastest broadband technology in the world.
Of course we all know that the first technology went bust (or was "bogus" to use your vernacular), but they conveniently found yet another disruptive technology, better than any other in the world, to take its place. You defend *this* company, and call the claims of the industry leaders "bogus".

I will be the first to agree that no product ever performs at the highest idealized level under real-world situations. However, until you you can provide bona fide independent results that show that VDSL2 claims are "bogus", I will continue to call you down as nothing more than a company mouthpiece.
