Is/was KERX being pumped by places like SA? Absolutely! One of the reasons I stayed out of the frenzy, it was obvious. As per your arguments about other available oral treatments, there aren't any that come close to doing what KERX's drug does - lemme guess - you're the guy that's claiming OTC iron supplements are equivalent in the comment section of one of those SA articles? And conveniently ignoring the primary purpose of the drug, which is phosphate binding?
Hint to others here: A real doctor who treats diabetics contacted me offline in a PM on another board about the results KERX revealed, and he said they were astounding to him, and that KERX would almost immediately replace currently used drugs as soon as it's available (not for 12-18 months from now though) - removing the need for iron IV's is the biggest positive it has. Total market size in the US is ~ $500M. But if you're not in it yet, wait - there *will* be a pullback, at a minimum to the gap around $6.
