Dem Tim Kaine, newly elected gov of VA, is a centrist - as is VA's current Dem gov, Mark Warner. Reps also lost 2 seast in VA's House of Delegates.
Rep Jerry Kilgore has been called a clone of GWB. However, it was interesting that Kilgore did not want to be seen w/GWB during his campaign, but seeing he was behind in poll numbers he rolled the dice this past weekend and appeared w/GWB in a rally at Richmond Int'l Airport. Some say it hurt him, others say Kilgore wasn't going to win anyhow.
GWB has no coat tails - which will not go unnoticed by Reps nationwide.
