Don't worry. I've been there. I have been banned from buying without settled funds. That's all that will happen. They will suspend your ability to buy, sell, and then buy again in the same day or before your first trade settles. You will not be banned from trading. I got screwed the same way you probably did. I did not have a margin account, but my broker would show that I could buy stock or withdraw funds, when I actually couldn't. So when i trade or withdrew, and did not have the funds to cover the trade, i got hit with the restriction. I think the third time it happened is when it became permanent. Oh well. Just have to be careful with that one.
