That does make any sense for DMRJ to knock the stock down by selling and compete with scared investors who are also selling because the stock is tanking. They could easily orchestrate gradual uptrend that would attract thousand of new buyers and they would sell much more shares (when there are a lot of buyers) and at much higher prices. And to bypass the 5% threshold - institutions use another account where they sell the stock short. The only reason for DMRJ to sell at these prices is to bring the stock down for another round of conversion. If that is not the case, the only remaining possibility is some entity is shaking down weak hands to load up on shares.
