Thats exactly the point.

If an entity fails to revist this issue and if the TSA's stance that this technology has no equal anywhere out there is true, it is simply absurd to posit that executives would risk being on the bad end of a disaster with their only excuse being that money was spent last year, prior to this technology being available.

They can not risk this.

This is a "WAR on TERROR". It is not an actuarial war, otherwise the technology involved in these sniffers would be designed to detect ledger sheets and accounting paperwork, LOL.

And anyway, there is no way these kinds of companies will not be out there looking to see if the technology they were looking for last year is now out there.

Technology runs so fast that the very idea that something this critical is not going to get looked at is absurd, IMHO. Companies will be constantly beating the bushes.

It is what it is, and thats the way it is.

So what that money in last years budget went to what was out there then.

That was then. This is now.

This technology has no equal.

It will get a serious look, both from entities who bought what was available last year and before, and from new considerers who are now free, as per the TSA, to seriously undertake scrutiny.
