I'm not assuming that. What I'm doing is remembering the words said in the CC.

You see, in the CC, it was said that there is no doubt that the technology Implant holds the patents to is superior to anything else out there.

Period.

There is nothing on planet Earth like it. Zero. Zilch. Nada.

I'll remind people once again: this is the "War on Terror"

War.

In War, you don't decide to NOT procure the best weapon when it shows up simply because some pencil pusher crunched the numbers last year and decided that you have to wear out the BB gun you are forced to use right now because the matter was already put before the budget committe last year.

It came out in the CC that the TSA is firmly of the opinion that there is no other technology on the face of the Earth that compares with this technology.

So suppose you are company A and you made a purchase decision last year.

This year, you get a quantum leap plopped down in front of you.

The TSA itself is insertiing its evaluation into the discussion, and there is no doubt that there is no other technology on the face of the Earth that compares.

So, to comply and to protect and to prevent and so on.... you are saying that the shackles and chains of past inadequate technology is going to bind people to failure?

To the liability of failure? The casualties of failure?

Really?

REALLY???

Wow!

Just wow!

And anyway, lets suppose some entity wanted to plant the idea that the prospects for future sales of Implant's revolutionary technology were not as rosy as they actually are. A slick suggestion that would do this would be to insist that a choice already made would not be revisited because that would involve "replacing" the already purchased solution.

Note the use of "replace". The seed of "sales-won't-be-that-great DOUBT" instanciated in the use of the word "replace".

Now bear in mind, Implant's technology is not a REPLACEMENT because it is not something with which thare is anything comparable.

A Corvette is not a "replacement" for a tricycle or a little red wagon, is it?

I, of course, contend that companies will jump at the chance to jettison past inferior solutions for this solution, with which there is no other comparable technology on the face of planet Earth. They will greet the emergence and availability of something that they had hoped to find last year, with wide open arms!!

I contend they will jump at the chance to upgrade.

UPGRADE.

Not "replace", mind you, but UPGRADE.

Last year, they were looking for what was not yet available, but this year, what they actually need is finally available.

You can bet your bottom dollar that they will find some way to fit this expense into their budgets and that it will not be a mere "replacement"

Upgrade, baby.

The budgets for Implant's technology will be there. Nobody responsible for this set of issues is going to voluntarily expose themselves to the vulnerability of deciding that they could not afford to obtain the best solution on planet Earth simply because they bought what was available last year.

I can just hear the courtroom testimony now... "Yes your honor, we knew that the solution we had been looking for last year became available this year, but we should not be found guilty of negligence and complicity in the crime that happened just because we decided it was too expensive to revist the issue... I mean, your honor, you gotta understand..... we'd already spent the money!!!"

Wow.

Just wow!!
