But yeah, all companies are self serving. That in no way means a company, for example Apple, doesn't give a damn when the PPS drops the amount it did. You think they just wanna line their pockets of the CEO, board members, etc. and let the value drop like a rock? I'm pretty sure all the cover stories such as the WSJ's on 'Exxon ousts Apple for greatest comp. valuation' was a beating for their "insiders" and execs as you regard them. Seeing Apple rise over 30% in year should tell you a lot about how much their share prices matter. Or is that just to line the pockets of the insiders? Whoops.
