Yes the MMs will show the best price . . . At the ask it is the lowest sell price and at the bid it is the highest buy price, if the price is the same for two orders placed by two different shareholders the higher volume one will be shown and processed first

Yes some shares would not be shown but the quantity is LESSER what's shown in the ask and if you are experienced enough you can judge if L2 is thin or having big walls of resistance . . Come on
