I agree with you. The 3x short ETF's are no place for beginners! But look what profit you would have if holding the 3x long!.

My stomach cannot take the tulip long. I bought the UPRO many times and lost in the trade. I lost many trades in the SPXU too. Since 2009, shorting this market hasn't paid much profit - yet......

Gold hasn't gone anywhere since October.
